MgO:LiNbO3 Crystals and wafers

In lithium niobate crystals, when doped with 5 mol% MgO, the anti-laser damage threshold of the grown MgO:LiNbO3 crystals can be increased by two orders of magnitude, with the OH- absorption peak red-shifted to 3535 cm-1, the UV absorption edge shifted to 310 nm, and the polarisation flip voltage reduced from 21 KV/mm to below 6 KV/mm. These changes greatly expand the LN crystal.
